Regulations for donations and support

Welcome to Mimelis Lab! You've come to the right place to support the Mimelis Lab label and Mimelis. Below you will find the rules governing donations and support, compiled in this "Donation and Support Rules." These rules are part of our Terms of Use . By making a donation or contribution, you agree to these rules as well as our Terms of Use.

1. Nature of donations and support

   Donations and support may include financial contributions, in-kind contributions, or any other form of support offered by Mimelis. Contributions are voluntary and do not imply any special rights other than those explicitly stated by Mimelis.

2. Eligibility

   Donations can be made by any user of the Platform.

3. Use of donations

   Donations and support received are used exclusively for the development of the Mimelis Lab label, its certification, and the Mimelis Lab and Mimelis platforms. They also contribute, directly or indirectly, to supporting the activities of Mimelis SA. Mimelis SA reserves the right to decide the final allocation of each contribution. Under no circumstances may they be considered as membership fees, voluntary contributions included in membership fees, or payments for Platform services.

4. Form and methods of donations

   • The user can make a donation via the "Donation" section of the Platform.
   • To make a donation, the user must identify themselves as an individual or company and fill in the requested information about the donor.
   • The user can choose to pay their donation by:
     • Credit card or any other payment method offered on the Platform,
     • Invoice generated by the Platform, or
     • Direct bank transfer.

5. Pledge of donation and payment by invoice

   By choosing to pay by invoice, the user makes a pledge, a formal commitment to support the Mimelis Lab label and the Mimelis Platform. The donor agrees to pay the pledged amount within 20 days. This step is important for Mimelis, as it allows them to anticipate the receipt of funds and organize support for the platform's activities. The invoice can be paid either through the Platform's payment partner or by bank transfer, using the details and instructions provided on the invoice.

6. Payment by direct bank transfer

   • In the case of a direct bank transfer, the donor must clearly indicate in the communication or description of the transfer:
     • Its name or company name,
     • His email address,
     • The mention "Mimelis Lab Donation" or donation reference.

7. Recurring donations

   Donations can be made on a regular basis: monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or annually.

   • By choosing this option, the user agrees that the recurrence of payments and the issuance of invoices related to their donation will be managed by our payment partner .
   • To control and manage their contribution, the user must subsequently activate their Mimelis Lab account, unless they are already connected to a Mimelis account at the time of their donation, in which case the donation is automatically linked to their existing account.
   • As long as the recurring payment is active or the Mimelis account is active, the donation is subject to the general terms and conditions of the payment partner.
   • In the case of regular donations, the user can adjust or stop their contribution by:
     • sending an email to Mimelis, or
     • using their Mimelis Lab account to manage their contribution independently.
   • The user must notify Mimelis or make the change via their personal space at least one month before the date of the next payment and always before the date of collection (or issuance of the invoice) of the recurring donation.

9. Cancellation and refund

   Donations made are irrevocable and non-refundable, except where required by law or with the specific written agreement of Mimelis SA. Once made, they cannot be cancelled or recovered, even partially.

10. Transparency and communication

    Mimelis SA may publish general information about contributions received, their use, and the impact generated, while respecting the confidentiality of contributors. Users can choose to remain anonymous regarding their name or the amount of their donation. For donations made via direct bank transfer, users can indicate their preference by email. For traceability purposes, the donor's contact information is always collected for payments made through the Platform.

11. Respect for the laws

    You agree to make your donations and support in accordance with applicable laws, including tax and anti-money laundering laws.

12. Amendment to the regulations

    Mimelis SA may update these rules at any time. Changes will be posted on the Platform and will take effect immediately. Your continued use of the Platform or your contributions after these changes constitute your acceptance of the updates.

13. Responsibility

    Mimelis SA is not responsible for your use of the rewards offered, nor for any incident or damage related to your donations or support, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
